I need to address looks like this Mueller@domain.com
I'm trying to use the% R

%m@domain.com
but then the address looks ueUeoeOeMuller@domain.com

try:
open notepad type policy like: "SMTP:%rA%rE%ri%ro%ro%ro%ru%ru%ru%g.%rA%rE%ri%ro%ro%ro%ru%ru%ru%s@ceg.corp"
save notepad to txt with UTF8 encoding and open powershell and past to policy like:
New-EmailAddressPolicy -Name test -EnabledPrimarySMTPAddressTemplate ctrl+v -recip...

your example change one letter to another but I need to change one letter to two letters e.q. ->ue
do you try using this policy ?? on with exchange version ??
